The exhibition "Hospital de Bellvitge, a journey through time", has been inaugurated on July 19, 2022 in the traffic circle outside the entrance to the hospital in a ceremony attended by the mayor of Hospitalet de Llobregat, Nuria Marín and the managing director of the Institut Català de la Salut (ICS), Yolanda Lejardi. Also in attendance was the deputy mayor of the Area of Equity, Social Rights and Human Resources of Hospitalet, Jesús Husillos, among other personalities.

The presentation of the exhibition was given by the territorial manager of the Southern Metropolitan Area of the ICS (GTMS) and manager of the Bellvitge University Hospital, Montserrat Figuerola, accompanied by managers and representatives of the three areas of the GTMS (Bellvitge Hospital, Southern Metropolitan Primary Care and Viladecans Hospital) and numerous managers, workers and retired professionals from the hospital.

The event also featured a performance by the Agape String Quartet, which played at the hospital as part of the Música en Vena program and, as all the performers who collaborate in this initiative do, also played for patients admitted to the center.

During the presentation of the exhibition, Montserrat Figuerola emphasized that the exhibition "allows us to take a quick look at our history and, at the same time, dignifies and makes the space in which it is mounted more pleasant, a fact that also helps to make the hospital more humane and friendly.
