CCOO presents in Madrid the guides "The social and solidarity economy" and" Self-employment", designed by Ars Satèl-lit.
Its elaboration and implementation has been the result of collaboration between the CCOO Confederal Secretariat of Social Economy and Self-Employment, FOREM Confederal and Dinamia, and aims to strengthen trade union work in these sectors: more advice, more attention and guidance on the multiplicity of existing legal regulations.
According to the Confederal Secretary of Social Economy and Self-Employment, Jordi Ribó, the aim of this material is that "our organisations can have a first shock material that we can offer to those groups hit by the crisis and that their solution can be individual self-employment, in the case of the self-employed, or a collective project, in the form of a social economy enterprise".
"Today, both self-employment and the social economy represent a part of the wealth that is generated in this country, and as such should be of interest to a confederal organisation such as the CCOO", he adds.
