The Archive of the Crown of Aragon in Barcelona hosts a photographic exhibition on the 30 years of the Hipercor attack committed by ETA, which was inaugurated on Monday in an event presided over by the Vice President of the Government, Soraya Saenz de Santamaria.
The exhibition has been coordinated by the Catalan Association of Victims of Terrorism and the Victims Memorial Center Foundation. The Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Education, the Victims of Terrorism Foundation and the EFE Agency, which has provided free photographs from its archive, have also collaborated in the exhibition.
The Minister of the Interior, Juan Ignacio Zoido, and the Minister of the Interior, Jordi Jané, also attended the event, as well as the president of the Catalan Association of Victims of Terrorist Organizations, José Vargas; the director of the Memorial Center Foundation, Florencio Domínguez, and the president of the Victims of Terrorism Foundation, Mari Mar Blanco, among other authorities.
The exhibition contains a visual tour with photographs of the EFE Agency and explanatory texts in Spanish, Catalan and English about the attack in Hipercor, in which 21 people died. Also about others perpetrated by the same perpetrators on those dates, as well as a remembrance for the 54 fatal victims of ETA in Catalonia.
